Private tutoring
Our private and semi-private tutoring sessions are designed to meet your child or teen’s specific needs and can be in-person or virtual. We work with students from 5-19 years old to reach long- or short-term goals.
How our private and semi-private tutoring works
We believe in consistent growth. The majority of our students meet weekly. Some students benefit greatly from twice-per-week tutoring. Current students who no longer need weekly tutoring can switch to every other week's tutoring if it fits with the tutor’s schedule.
Together, we commit to a regular tutoring schedule. We start with a minimum of 3 sessions (or 3 hours over 2 sessions).
Every child is different! Session length varies based on age, needs, and attention span. Most in-person sessions are 50-60 minutes of highly focused and engaging learning.
For our virtual learners, session lengths vary from longer 60-90 minutes to shorter 5-30 minute check-ins.
We also offer additional shorter virtual check-ins (5-15 minutes) for our in-person students who need more time with their tutor.
Looking for peer motivation? Our small group tutoring reignites your child's passion for learning while connecting with others at a more affordable rate.
