STEP 1:
Browse our tutors, coaches and counselors and find potential matches that fit your schedule.
STEP 2:
Contact Director Cindy Pearson to let her know of at least 2 tutors you are interested in working with.
STEP 3:
Cindy will ensure that you have a good match, confirm the tutor availability, and send you an email with the client form.
STEP 4:
Cindy will send you a request to sign the electronic contract.
STEP 5:
Pay the $100 onboarding fee which includes the $40 matching fee and $60 toward your student’s first session(s). Then you will be matched with your tutor via email!

Most of our in-person tutoring and coaching sessions are in Golden and some are also in the areas adjacent to Golden such as Lakewood, Wheat Ridge, Arvada and Green Mountain. We also have students drive from Morrison, Genesee, Evergreen, and Littleton to meet with our tutors in south Golden/northwest Lakewood.

Primarily K-12 but we also support first-year college students/high school graduates transitioning to life beyond high school.

Our 2024-2025 hourly rates vary from $38/hr to $70/hr.

Cindy started Golden Tutoring in 2012.

We offer both in-person and remote tutoring. For in-person sessions, we can meet at:
the student’s home in Golden or West Denver (if it is within the radius that the tutor drives and a parent/guardian will be home during the sessions)
local Jeffco libraries (tutor-dependent)
local recreation and community centers (tutor-dependent)
local coffee shops (tutor-dependent and only 6th-12th graders)
various Denver West locations (tutor-dependent)

Our cancellation policy is detailed in our tutoring contract.

The $100 onboarding fee is nonrefundable but if tutoring needs to be delayed due to a family emergency or illness we are happy to postpone tutoring.
