Executive function coaching
Our executive function coaching sessions will help your teen master their academic environment.
Executive functioning skills coaching helps students develop cognitive abilities that enable them to reflect, plan, organize, initiate, and achieve goals. Our coaches work with students to identify their relative strengths and weaknesses in the main areas of executive functioning skills.
After review and reflection, coaches and students work together to create a personalized plan, teach and implement strategies, increase student motivation, decrease stress associated with school, and ultimately improve academic performance. An improvement in executive functioning skills can also lead to greater success and greater superpowers in all areas of life!

10 Executive Functioning Skills We Can Help Your Teen Improve
How our executive function coaching works
We believe in consistent growth. The majority of our executive functioning students meet weekly for 60 minutes with 1-2 additional 5-15 minute remote check-ins. Some struggling students benefit from meeting more frequently. Current executive functioning students who no longer need weekly tutoring can switch to every other week executive functioning tutoring with the tutor’s recommendation.
Together, we commit to a regular tutoring schedule. We start with a minimum of 3 one hour sessions.
Every teen is different! Session length varies based on age, needs, and attention span. In-person sessions are typically 60 minutes of highly focused and engaging coaching.
For our virtual learners, session lengths vary from longer 50-70 minutes to shorter 5-30 minute check-ins.
We highly recommend additional short weekly virtual check-ins (5-15 minutes) for our executive functioning students to help them stay on track.
