Dana
Prior to becoming an elementary teacher, Dana studied Human Development and Family Studies and Early Childhood Education at Colorado State University. Upon graduating she went on to get her Masters in Education in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Differentiated Instruction and a certification in English Language Development as well as Gifted and Talented Education. She has 10 years of experience teaching both 1st and 3rd grades in Aurora Public Schools and Denver Public Schools. Dana left teaching a few years ago to raise her two young children, but continues to love working with kids and finds great joy in tutoring students outside of the classroom. In her free time Dana enjoys spending time with her family, baking, and being outdoors.
