Jennifer is a licensed K–6 educator with 30 years of teaching experience, including 27 years as a dedicated Jeffco teacher with a deep passion for early childhood learning. For Jennifer, the absolute best part of teaching is helping elementary students build strong literacy and math habits, and she loves watching that magical moment when confusion turns into proud, smiling confidence. Knowing that every child learns differently, she mindfully customizes each session to fit your student’s unique needs, pairing proven Science of Reading methods with an incredibly calm and gentle demeanor that instantly puts nervous students at ease. She holds a bachelor's degree from Texas Lutheran University, a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Colorado Denver, and a Colorado Professional teacher license with endorsements in Elementary Education K–6 and Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education K–12. At home, Jennifer is a proud mom of two college sons, and in her free time, she loves taking yoga classes and walking her two goldendoodles. She cannot wait to welcome your child into a supportive, encouraging environment where they can safely learn, smile, and grow.
