Carrie
Carrie is a Colorado native and a proud recipient of a Jeffco education. She has nearly 30 years of experience teaching in Jefferson County. Teaching is more than a profession for Carrie; she sees it as an opportunity to inspire, influence and make a lasting difference in a child’s life.
Carrie has a Masters degree in literacy from Lesley University and is trained in Orton Gillingham, Into Reading, and Illustrative Mathematics. She has proudly served a diverse community of learners throughout her career, and is passionate about helping her students develop a lifelong love of literacy and math through strong instruction, meaningful goal-setting, high expectations…… and lots of fun too!
Carrie lives in Littleton with her family and is a proud wife and mom to two girls - one in college and one in high school. Outside of the classroom, she loves watching her daughters play softball and spending time in the mountains, where she enjoys fishing and riding ATVs. She also enjoys reading, listening to music and making memories with friends and family.
