Jamie
Jamie is a professional writer and language arts teacher with a master's in creative writing and a professional teaching license. From grammar to composition, creative writing to college essays, argumentative, research, and rhetorical analysis, Jamie’s well-versed in the art of written expression. As well, she was an FM radio DJ in Aspen, Colorado, and produced her own podcast, Sonic Byways with Jamie Lynn, featuring interviews with musicians, artists, and writers. She loves to help students hone their interview skills, including active listening, note-taking, and informed oral expression for debate and public speaking. Having lived in the mountains of Colorado and coastal North Carolina, Jamie is an outdoor enthusiast who surfs, skis, and rock climbs. She and her rescue dog love wading in high mountain streams and exploring the small towns of Colorado.
