With over ten years of experience teaching kindergarten and first grade in Jeffco schools, Julie now dedicates her expertise to tutoring students in kindergarten through second grade. She focuses on reading and math, employing evidence-based instructional methods grounded in the science of reading and combined with interactive, hands-on learning. Julie's goal is to cultivate confidence and significant academic growth in each child. She is also Orton-Gillingham trained, a certified elementary teacher, and READ Act certified.
As a mom to two sons – one at the Savannah College of Art and Design, and another at Golden High School – she deeply values establishing a strong educational foundation and nurturing a lasting passion for learning. Living in Golden with her family and her two-year-old Bernedoodle, Oliver, Julie also enjoys thrifting and hot yoga. She looks forward to empowering more students on their learning journeys.
