Kimberly has over ten years of experience in the classroom as a 3rd and 4th grade teacher. She is licensed as a K-6 elementary teacher and has her secondary social studies endorsement as well as an ELL endorsement. Kimberly graduated from the University of Colorado with a BA in history and has her MA in education, specializing in culturally diverse linguistics, from Adams State University. Kimberly is certified in the IMSE Orton-Gillingham comprehensive reading and Morphology teaching programs. Over the last decade, she has found a passion in supporting all learners by strengthening their individual literacy and mathematical skills. By building and maintaining a foundation of skills students can work towards mastery and feel successful in all they do. Kimberly is also a firm believer in developing a growth mindset for all learners. Everyone can do hard things!

Kimberly enjoys time with her family going to the zoo, attending performing arts events and concerts at Red Rocks, traveling, and experiencing all of the wonderful outdoor opportunities Colorado offers!
