Amanda brings over 13 years of dedicated teaching experience to her work as a private tutor, including ten years in the Golden area. Holding a B.S. in Elementary Education and an M.S. in Leadership from Southeastern Oklahoma State University, Amanda is a passionate educator who believes in the transformative power of literacy. She is trained in the Orton-Gillingham approach and H.D. Word, both highly effective methods for teaching reading, and holds a Colorado READ Act credential, underscoring her commitment to helping students develop strong foundational skills.
Amanda’s teaching philosophy centers on the idea that every child deserves the opportunity to unlock the wonders of the world through reading. She has a special passion for empowering students to overcome challenges and build confidence in their abilities.
