Stephanie graduated magna cum laude from Wheaton College with a degree in English literature and a secondary teaching certificate. She dedicated 18 years to middle and high school students in classrooms in Illinois, Ohio, and Florida. In the classroom, Stephanie’s instruction in regular, advanced, and AP classrooms centered around the belief that all students can make gains in learning when they are encouraged to take risks, build relationships and utilize learning strategies. Beyond the classroom, Stephanie was a writer of a national pre-AP curriculum and has spent several years training teachers around the country in effective implementation of best classroom practices. Stephanie holds a Colorado teaching certificate and has recently relocated to the state of Montana. Beyond her passion for teaching and learning and helping her students thrive, she loves spending time with her husband, children, and boxers; writing and reading; and engaging in all the outdoor fun the West has to offer.
