Sonny has been teaching for over twenty years and tutoring students since 2007. He’s worked with students ranging in age from three through twenty-five across various academic disciplines. He received his bachelor’s degree in writing and his master’s degree in applied linguistics. Sonny has a true passion for language. He is a voracious reader and a published writer. He has studied thirteen languages, held conversations in six, and will always have a special place in his life and his heart for Japanese. Sonny experienced educational, social, and emotional struggles when he was young, and he loves to help students work through barriers. His students recognize his sincerity and enjoy his sense of humor.
