Shannon graduated from University of Northern Colorado with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a Colorado teaching license in 2000. She earned a Masters of Science Degree in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment in 2007. Shannon has a passion for teaching. She has twenty-four years of experience teaching mathematics to high school students, including pre-algebra, algebra 1, geometry, algebra 2, IMP 1-4, and AP calculus. She also teaches Methods of Teaching Mathematics at Colorado School of Mines. Shannon loves spending time with her husband, three kids, two dogs, and a cat.
