Jennie grew up in Wichita, KS and moved to Golden in 2014. She graduated cum laude from Wichita State University, earning a BS in mathematics with a minor in chemistry. She has tutored students of all ages and across all areas of mathematics. At Wichita State, she managed the Math Lab, expanding its focus from serving mainly math majors to successful support and tutoring for students of all majors and disciplines. She began her career as a software developer, programming web-based interfaces for complex databases for Wichita State University as well as doing grant-funded programming for the Federal Aviation Administration. After ten years, Jennie left the university and started her own consulting company, designing and developing commerce-based software and mobile mapping applications. In addition to mathematics and software development, Jennie has studied library science as well as accounting. Most recently, she has focused on her children’s learning and extracurricular activities. She is ready to share her love of math with middle and high school students and support tech education in her community.
