Jamie graduated from West Chester University of Pennsylvania in 2011 with a bachelors degree in Elementary Education and minors in literacy and dance. Following her dream of having her own classroom, she moved to Virginia to teach 4th grade. While receiving her masters degree in Special Education from George Mason University, she taught for six years in VA. Her next adventure brought her back home to PA where she taught fifth and third grade for five years! This past fall, Jamie moved to Colorado and currently teaches fourth grade at Mitchell Elementary School. She has loved her twelve year journey of teaching thus far and is extremely passionate about reading instruction, math instruction, and social emotional learning. She believes all children can succeed with the right tools!
