Elena has an extensive STEM background, a clinical license, and a masters degree in informatics. For the past ten years, she has worked in a math-driven field where she heavily relied on predictive analytics and forecast analysis. Elena enjoys teaching and has had significant experience tutoring pre-algebra and algebra I and II. She believes that tutoring a child involves a holistic approach and multiple teaching methods to achieve the best results. Elena works with both the parents and the students, creates additional worksheets with answer keys to take home for extra practice and comes to the sessions with the student’s homework already done on her end, so the time is fully concentrated in instruction and review.
