    & Math Tutor

Andy is a junior at the Colorado School of Mines and currently pursuing a degree in Quantitative Biosciences and Engineering. After graduating next year in 2024, he is looking to pursue a graduate degree in a biomedical or bioengineering program. Andy has had experience in two undergraduate research labs in 3D printing protein models and investigating biofuels generated from algae. In these positions, he has been able to learn and apply new skills as well as those learned from the many chemistry, biology, and engineering classes taken in college. After graduating from a high school that was not as strong in the STEM fields, he has found enjoyment and satisfaction in learning high level chemistry, biology, and math. These skills and the application of science and math is what he hopes to be able to help students with as they continue their academics as well. In college, he is a member of the Mines varsity track and field team and also enjoys being outside fishing, skiing, and playing spike ball with his friends.
